Big Sur and the Pacific Coast Highway Fine Art Landscape Photography - Limited Edition Prints

Located on a rugged section of the Central California coastline, Big Sur and the Pacific Highway (CA-1) are world renown for their beauty. Overlooking the rugged California coastline and the Pacific Ocean, the Pacific Hwy (CA-1) is considered one of the most scenic drives in the United States and the world. Big Sur is home to famous McWay Falls, a waterfall which tumbles over the cliffs straight into the Pacific Ocean at McWay Cove. When you take in a sunset at Pfeiffer Beach or gaze upon the light beams shining through Keyhole Arch if the timing is right, it’s easy to see why the rugged California coast is so world renowned. Taking in the scenic beauty of this wondrous, undeveloped California coastline as you look across the Bixby Bridge is always a sight to see, as rugged mountains rise up from steep cliffs as the Pacific Ocean crashes against the rocks below. Wherever you look, you are sure to find beauty along Big Sur and the California coastline.

Seeing the last rays of sun set over the Pacific Ocean as it crashes against the rocks at Point Lobos and the Monterey Peninsula is always a peaceful experience. There has always been something about the ocean which captivates my soul. Seeing the sea stacks at places like Shark Fin Cove rise up from the rugged Pacific as the last light of day kisses the skies is a sight I’ll never forget. Sunset light on the coast seemingly hangs on forever, and witnessing Pigeon Point Lighthouse softly glow against the colors of dusk is a moment were time stands still. Places like this always seem to have that effect on me, as time always seems to stand still when I’m near the Pacific Ocean.

There always beauty and serenity to be found along the coast near the ocean, and there’s a solitude that leaves us with a renewed feeling of peace. I’ve spent my entire life visiting the wonders along the Pacific coastline, and no matter how many times I see the Pacific I always leave feeling refreshed and renewed. I hope the photography in my Big Sur and the Pacific Coast Highway Fine Art Photography gallery leaves everyone who views it feeling the same way.
