A full rainbow forms over the Columbia River at the beginning of the golden hour, stretching from Hood River, Oregon to Underwood, Washington as soft golden colors illuminate the clouds in the sky. The rainbow arches from Hood River Mountain and Panorama Point in Hood River County, over McCall Point and Stanley Rock and over the Columbia River to the other end of the rainbow past Strawberry Mountain in Washington. It's a beautiful scene of rainbows in light, creating a double pot of gold in the Columbia River Gorge from one side of the river to the other.
It's always amazing to witness the full arch of a rainbow, especially so when it arches over the Columbia River spanning both sides of the Columbia River Gorge. I've spent my entire life visiting the Gorge, and the spring light when rain and mist combine with the correct angle of the sunset to create a full rainbow are always a magical sight to witness. I first saw this scene as a child with my Mom and Dad, and 4 decades later it still takes my breath away.

A high-resolution panoramic stitch [2x1 aspect ratio] of 2 single exposure images panned horizontally using a nodal rail and L-bracket on a 3-way pan and tilt panoramic head for nodal point accuracy, ensuring the final photo preserves museum-grade detail and resolution across the entire frame, from the Rainbow stretching over the Columbia River to the cliffs of the Gorge illuminated by the golden hour.
