Elk
Created on March 1, 1872, by an act of Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant, Yellowstone was America's First National Park. Its landscape encompasses three states: Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. Known as the American Serengeti, Yellowstone National Park is home to Bison, Grizzlies, Elk and a vast array of wildlife. Elk are an important part of the Yellowstone ecosystem and are found all over Yellowstone National Park.
