American Bison
Created on March 1, 1872, by an act of Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant, Yellowstone was America's First National Park. Its landscape encompasses three states: Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. Known as the American Serengeti, Yellowstone National Park is home to Bison, Grizzlies, Elk and a vast array of wildlife. American Bison are also known as Buffalo, and are some of the most well know species of Wildlife in Yellowstone National Park.
