Mountains in Black and White
John Muir once said “The Mountains are calling and I must go.” During Muir’s lifetime, the breathtaking splendor of the mountains would be seen with your eyes in color yet captured for those who could not see them in person with black and white. The snow capped peaks against lakes, forests and other alpine landscapes truly create some amazing black and white tones. As Muir once said “going to mountains is going home.” I hope my black and white photography inspires you with the same sense of wonder.
