"Into the Forest," Boardman Tree Farm Autumn Colors, Boardman, Oregon
The Poplar Trees of the Boardman Tree farm in Boardman, Oregon stand evenly spaced and of equal height. It's quite a sight to see. Standing at the edge of this evenly spaced forest, evenly spaced rows of poplars have even paths between them which go for acres. When the warm light of the golden hour approaches, the leaves, bark, and ground below begin to illuminate with a warm golden glow. Sadly, this sight is no more: Greenwood Tree Farms sold the Boardman Tree Farm to a pair of agricultural companies. The trees have all been harvested without re-planting. The land is now used for agriculture crops and dairy cows. Now, the only way to peer into this man made forest is through photographs like this one.
